PA/PE Co-Extruded Film for Vacuum, Thermoforming & Flexible Packaging
PA/PE Co-Extruded Film is a multilayer flexible packaging film designed to combine the mechanical strength and puncture resistance of polyamide (PA/nylon) with the heat-sealing, moisture resistance and flexibility of polyethylene (PE).
ZXCOOL manufactures custom PA/PE multilayer film rolls for vacuum packaging, thermoforming, food packaging and other demanding flexible packaging applications. Depending on the application, we can produce 7-layer, 9-layer, 11-layer and customized multilayer structures using blown-film or cast-film technology.

7-Layer, 9-Layer & 11-Layer PA/PE Film
Multilayer co-extrusion allows different polymers to be combined into a single film structure, giving each layer a specific function. Depending on the application, ZXCOOL can design the structure around sealing, mechanical strength, oxygen barrier, moisture barrier, forming performance and puncture resistance.

Commercial suppliers commonly use 7-, 9- and 11-layer co-extrusion for food and thermoforming films, with higher layer counts allowing more functional layers to be incorporated into the structure.

Commercial thermoforming-film specifications commonly include customized multilayer structures, different gauges and widths, with separate top and bottom films selected according to the packaging machine and forming process.
